Welcome to Birth By Kay. I am a devoted Christian, mother of two boys, and a passionate doula serving growing families throughout Northern Utah with faith-centered, evidence-based care.
My journey to birth work
My calling to become a doula grew directly from my own motherhood experiences. My first pregnancy was high-risk and resulted in an overwhelming NICU stay, showing me firsthand how fragile and vulnerable birth can feel. When preparing for my second child, I immersed myself in evidence-based birth education and gathered a trusted support team, leading to an empowering unmedicated hospital delivery. That life-changing contrast revealed the true power of holistic support, informed choice, and faith.

My care style seamlessly combines emotional and spiritual encouragement with physical comfort techniques and practical guidance. Having walked through both complex medical interventions and a natural hospital birth, I promise to create a peaceful environment where you feel heard, honored, and prepared to make confident choices for your family.
